Quarnevalen 2017: carnival parade on Stockholm\'s streets
On May 14, 2017, central Stockholm was flooded with young people wearing different costumes, riding strange vehicles (I can't even classify some of them as cars), making cheerful noise and marching for around 500,000 spectators.

Ulriksdal Palace with wonderful views over Edsviken
Ulriksdal Palace is a royal palace, one of many in Sweden. It is one of the most popular locations for photography, mainly in summer of course. For example, there is often a queue for a photo session in a long alley, which you’ll see in the photos.
In this post I’d like to share the most exciting experience during my first 12 months in Stockholm – from February 2016 till January 2017. Many new acquaintances, many new places visited in Stockholm, developing myself as a photographer, feeling more comfortable in a new environment.

The Drottningholm Palace, Stockholm, in white January and golden October
The Drottningholm Palace is the permanent home residence of the Swedish royal family. I've visited the park around it twice, in January 2017 and in October 2016. And I'd like to combine photographs from two different seasons in this post.
Skansen is the world's first open-air museum, founded in 1891 in Stockholm. There you can see how Swedes lived even five centuries ago. There's also a big open-air zoo with Scandinavian animals, both domestic and wild, and several buildings with exotic animals.
