Quarnevalen 2017: carnival parade on Stockholm\'s streets

On May 14, 2017, central Stockholm was flooded with young people wearing different costumes, riding strange vehicles (I can't even classify some of them as cars), making cheerful noise and marching for around 500,000 spectators. Participants are all students, Quarnevalen is held every third year.

As I came pretty much in the beginning, I didn't have time and free space to find a really good place to photograph from. So I took my place in the middle of Sveavägen (right next to a traffic light) near McDonald's and watched all this carnival through the lens. Let's see how it was.
