Millesgården is an art museum and a sculpture park in Stockholm, located on the island of Lidingö. During my first (and yet the only one) visit to the place I was astonished by exterior design even more than by amount and diversity of sculptures. With those trees like in Italy (I don't know how they are called), with a number of fountains, with sculptures like in ancient Greece... You'll feel yourself like a time traveler :)

Drottningholm Palace is a super popular place to visit in Stockholm. That's where the Swedish royal family resides. I've been to the park around the palace for several times throughout the year, now it's fun to compare pictures of the same view in different seasons.

Ulriksdal Palace with wonderful views over Edsviken
Ulriksdal Palace is a royal palace, one of many in Sweden. It is one of the most popular locations for photography, mainly in summer of course. For example, there is often a queue for a photo session in a long alley, which you’ll see in the photos.

The Drottningholm Palace, Stockholm, in white January and golden October
The Drottningholm Palace is the permanent home residence of the Swedish royal family. I've visited the park around it twice, in January 2017 and in October 2016. And I'd like to combine photographs from two different seasons in this post.
Skansen is the world's first open-air museum, founded in 1891 in Stockholm. There you can see how Swedes lived even five centuries ago. There's also a big open-air zoo with Scandinavian animals, both domestic and wild, and several buildings with exotic animals.

Stockholm by night, part 1
Welcome to Stockholm, the capital of Scandinavia! The city is super beautiful by night, especially when dressed in Christmas lights. In this post I collected both already published and yet unpublished shots of night Stockholm.
Stockholm was lucky to be covered in snow during the Santa Run. It felt like a real holiday, like Christmas! And the photos of the event are much more beautiful with snow. Stockholm Santa Run is an all charity run which takes place for the third time. This year, in 2016, the event started at Kungsträdgården and continued at the old city (Gamla Stan).
